Emergency Contraception Toolkit

You have reached this page either from the main Toolkits Archive page or because you followed a link to a page or resource that used to be in a K4Health Toolkit. The Toolkits platform has been retired.

Emergency contraceptives are very safe, effective, and increasingly accessible around the world. Ensuring broad access to emergency contraception is crucial for improving reproductive health outcomes globally. Emergency contraception not only reduces the risk of unwanted pregnancy, but also helps prevent unsafe abortion and maternal morbidity and mortality. This toolkit was originally created by K4Health and reviewed by the International Consortium for Emergency Contraception (ICEC).
